This practice resource guide assists the crucial work of the Victorian Child Protection program, community service organisations (CSOs) and Aboriginal community-controlled organisations (ACCOs) in preventing and responding effectively to child sexual exploitation.
This practice resource guide was developed in 2017, prior to the introduction of the SAFER children framework. The information remains relevant for child protection practice, as it is a reference tool to assist problem solving, help generate ideas and support consultation, supervision and training.
While children in the general community may be at risk of child sexual exploitation, this guide is for those working with children known to Child Protection.
