Family Violence Child Protection Partnership

This service model outlines a description and characteristics of the Family Violence Child Protection Partnership and the role of the specialist family violence workers.
The partnership co-locates 17 senior family violence workers in child protection offices and 12 senior child protection practitioners across Victoria. The partnership aims to strengthen child protection practice in responding to family violence, enable joint assessments, assist child protection to navigate the family violence system and identify opportunities to divert children away from statutory responses.
